A chain built for a threat that isn't here yet
Abelian is a proof-of-work Layer 1 blockchain built to stay secure after quantum computers break today's cryptography. It adds privacy in tiers you choose, and runs on the ABEL token, mobile and desktop wallets and a mining community. The risk it answers is real now: data taken today can be decrypted later. But protection against computers that don't exist yet is hard to feel.
Making advanced feel calm
The brief was a tension, not a number. Newcomers had to find it calm and clear. Miners and crypto natives had to find it credible. So the identity leads with calm: a luminous world of precision-engineered imagery, soft gradients, glassy forms, electric blues and a lot of white space.
A mark drawn from code
The "A" is built on a grid of guide lines. Turn it and it reads as p and q, the two letters in the name. Open its strokes and you get "</>", a nod to the code underneath. It sits in one lockup that holds on light, blue and dark, from a slide to a T-shirt.
Post-quantum, without the jargon
The site leads with what Abelian protects, your transactions, assets and data, and saves the cryptography for the people who want it. A quick-glance carousel covers privacy, Layer 2 and proof-of-work in a card each. We also designed the downloads page: wallets, the node and the mining clients in one list, with clear platform choices and a toast that confirms the download.
One project became a relationship
After the brand and site, PQAbelian asked us back for PQBD, their annual conference: the 2025 site on Webflow, with its speakers and agenda, then the next edition, designed and approved before the event moved to 2027. The work also led to a second brand for a new team in the same circle.
