Carbon, captured from the air
Star Affinity Ventures is a climate tech company in Hong Kong. Its CIONEX system uses ion exchange to capture CO₂ straight from the air, then repurposes it into green building materials, eco farming and algae-based products. The science is serious; the brand and the site had to make it clear and approachable.
A star in the A
The logo builds the first letter of Affinity from a blue stroke and a green star, so the full name, Star Affinity, sits in one letter. The wordmark stays simple beside it, and the mark works on light and dark.
Two pages, one story
The home page leads with the mission, Pioneering a Net Zero Future, and the product. The CIONEX page does the explaining: what the system does, that one unit equals the power of 48 trees, what the captured carbon becomes, and the system in action, ending with a way to get in touch.
A film for the science
We also made the product film: the CIONEX unit drawing in air, its chamber filling with sorbent, and a CO₂ molecule caught in a honeycomb. It shows what ion exchange does without a diagram.
Designed, then built
We built the site in Webflow from the design. It is live at staraffinity.io.
